We walk out to a large viewing area full of people. Everyone is in awe. Suddenly, I know why Niagara Falls is one of the wonders of the world. The view is magnificent. The view actually deserves the word “awesome.” I even say awesome over and over like a teenager. The view and the sound make the Niagara Falls experience live in your memory forever. If you are from a big city you know what polluted air smells like. But at Niagara you will experience clean, fresh, pristine air that has been cleansed by the crashing of the falls onto the rocks. Niagara Falls Sticker Shock

Now to the story and my ultimate case of sticker shock. When we arrived at the Toronto airport, we found out that the airport shuttle we had been promised only went to the airport hotel a mile away. No big deal, we’ll take a taxi. Fifty dollars Canadian later, we thought boy, this place may be expensive. We liked the taxi driver. He introduced us to the convenience store right across from our hotel where I could buy Diet Coke at what I thought was an obscene price... Tags: Niagara Falls Sticker Shock

Niagara Falls - Is It Worth The Trip?

Yes, a thousand times yes. I recently saw a calendar entitled “Places to go before I Die.” Most certainly Niagara Falls is near the top of the list. Not only is this one of the Wonders of the World but it also lives up to the hype. It is truly wondrous. Tags: Is Niagara Falls It Worth The Trip
